Terms of Service

Effective date: April 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScreenSense desktop application and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Nazli Nadem on behalf of Rayan Sohrabian, based in California, United States ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using ScreenSense you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What ScreenSense is

ScreenSense is a macOS application (macOS 12 or later, Apple Silicon) that, on your request, captures a screenshot of your screen, runs on-device optical character recognition (OCR) to extract text, sends the screenshot and extracted text to Anthropic's Claude API, and renders visual annotations (arrows, circles, highlights) over your screen pointing at the elements relevant to your question.

The Service requires the macOS Screen Recording permission to function. Without it, the app cannot see your screen and cannot answer your questions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

ScreenSense is intended for general audiences and does not contain mature or harmful content. However, in accordance with our payment processor's requirements and applicable contract law, you must be at least 18 years old to purchase credits. Users under 18 may use ScreenSense's free starter credit and core features under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on the user's behalf.

Authentication uses email magic links. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which your session token is stored. Notify us immediately at support@tryscreensense.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
